  • Back-to-back All Sun-Belt CFC100 OG Kyle Hergel has announced that his transfer destination will be Boston College, where he will play out his final year of eligibility in hopes of securing his NFL draft stock. The 6’2”, 300lbs guard is a freak who can bench press 500lbs while having a 34” vertical. This will be his third spot after starting off at North Dakota then playing the last couple of years at Texas State.

U SPORTS/NCAA COMMITS

  • CFC100 QB Christian Veilleux has also announced his transfer destination, as he will join the Pitt Panthers for the 2023 season. He will likely begin the season as backup to Boston College transfer Phil Jurkovec, who had been their starter for two years following his transfer from Notre Dame, where he backed up Ian Book. Jurkovec only has one more year of eligibility left, so it seems like the plans for now are to have Veilleux take over the reigns in 2024 if he doesn’t manage to steal the starting spot from Jurkovec this season.
