  • Weā€™ve seen some stellar Canadian performances through the last couple weeks of October, highlighted by a 3.5 sack performance from Miami CFC100 DL Akheem Mesidor against Virginia Tech. In addition, CFC100 TE Theo Johnson has broken out after an injury-riddled beginning to the year posting 7 catches for 132 yards and a TD in his last two games. This past weekend, Pittsburgh CFC100 WR Jared Wayne had a 161 yard outing as well. Finally at this point, need I say anything about CFC100 RB Chase Brown? The Canadian tailback currently leads the NCAA in rushing yards with 1208 yards.Ā

  • LB Alex Singleton nearly set an NFL record on October 17th posting a whopping 21 tackles against the Chargers in a nailbiter overtime loss. The Canadian factor continued to be present in the Broncos following game against the Jets, as Canadian-American QB Brett Rypien drew the start in place of the injured Russell Wilson. He threw for 225 yards in the 7 point loss.

  • CFC100 DB Jett Elad, who was formerly a starter in the defensive backfield at Ohio, has been a hot prospect lately at Garden City CC. In 8 games, he has 29 tackles and 5 pass breakups, and has garnered FBS offers from Akron, Old Dominion, Colorado State, and Hawaii.
  • Lastly we had some big trade news in the NFL with former Pittsburgh Steelers CFC100 WR Chase Claypool on his way to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2nd round pick. Claypool has caught 32 passes for 311 yards with one touchdown this season, and caught 153 receptions for 2044 yards and 12 touchdowns during his three year career with the Steelers.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
