Toronto players Akeel Lynch and Tevaun Smith are both playing tremendous football as sophomores in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).Β The BIG 10 competitors have the stats to back it up.Β Akeel is ranked 20th in BIG 10 rushing and has a respectable 7.7 yard average, 1 touchdown, and 270 yards on 35 carries (long 43 yards).Β Tevaun is fourth on his team in receiving yards and receptions with 10 catches for 104 yards.Β He had a tremendous catch this past weekend you can see in this ESPN link.
Akeel (St. Michael’s college & St. Francis) and Tevaun (Chaminade & Kent) both played high school football in Canada and the United States before accepting scholarship offers from Penn State and Iowa.Β Both players were featured in CFCs TOP u20 PLAYERS IN 2013.
