Montreal, July 8, 2013 – After two days of intensive practice (campus of Fort St-Jean, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu), head coach Brad Collinson ( Laval Rouge et Or) announced the 40 players that will make up the final roster for Team Quebec, representing the Quebec soccer 2013 Canada Cup in Moncton, from 15 to 21 July.
The selection process, which began in March, has allowed coaches to observe more than 400 players in the three AdidasΒ evaluation camps. The selection camp on June 1 and 2 gathered a hundred of the best athletes evaluated this spring.
“Every decision was difficult, we were treated to a very high level of football. Β The caliber and talent of our young athletes impresses me every year, which is very promising for the future of football in Quebec, “said head coach Brad Collinson.
“Now our job is to create a team chemistry and move forward together to win a championship! “Said Collinson.
