U Sports re-awards four honours following sport ethics infractions

Four U SPORTS football honours re-awarded following sport ethics infractions in 2017-18 season

June 20, 2018 TORONTO (U SPORTS) – Following doping infractions during the 2017-18 U SPORTS football season, one major award and three All-Canadian recognitions have been re-awarded by the national office.

The Peter Gorman Trophy for U SPORTS Rookie of the Year has been awarded to Tre Ford of the Waterloo Warriors. Kene Onyeka of the Carleton Ravens has also been recognized as a First Team All-Canadian, while Jonathan Boissoneault-Glaou of the Montréal Carabins and Bailey Feltmate from the Acadia Axemen have been awarded Second Team All-Canadian status.

U SPORTS congratulates all four student-athletes on their remarkable accomplishments following a terrific 2017-18 season.
