UBC adds Illinois transfer

NCAA Division 2 offensive lineman transfers to CWUAA team.

UBC Thunderbirds have been successful in their recruitment efforts south of the border.

Recently, Ben Harrington transferred over to their football program.

The 6’4, 280 pound offensive lineman (tackle) from St.Louis, Illinois will not be eligible to play until 2016 and he will have two years of eligibility remaining at the CIS level.

Previously, he played three seasons with NCAA Division 2 team, McKendree Bearcats in Lebanon, Illinois.  During his time there, he was a two-time All-Conference selection.

The offensive lineman also suited up for Mattoon High School in Illinois where he was selected as both an All-State and All-Conference Player.
