UTTLEY’S top prospects: CFCFPC west coast “players to watch”

On Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 7:30pm at MNP Park (Carleton), the top grade 11 players from Ontario and British Columbia will square off in a highly anticipated Fox 40 Prospect Challenge, “Battle of the Best”, that will showcase a number of young athletes on the CFC100 top prospects list of 2018 and a number of young men who attended various CFCFPC events and have put themselves on the map as far as their performances at these camps.

The two rosters combined will display some of the very best athletes in Canada. Quickly looking at the potential rosters, I can honestly say that 90-95% of these young athletes will be highly recruited starting this summer and into the heart of the 2018 recruiting season.  This game will feature a tremendous group of skill players as well as an outstanding collection of lineman, both offensively and defensively. It will be interesting to see how these two extremely talented teams will match up.

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to take in the CFCFPC west coast combine and selection camp. I am going to introduce you to 6 outstanding grade 11s, 3 grade 10s you just simply need to know about now, and a grade 9 defensive end who ran a 4.5 4o-yd dash that I personally hand timed myself.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
