Vanier Cup Champions hook CEGEP recruit

Levis defensive standout joins RSEQ team’s 2015 class.

It didn’t take long for Tristan Rochette to make his decision.

The 6’0, 225 pound defensive lineman from Levis, Quebec has committed to Vanier Cup Champions, Montreal Carabins.Β  Rochette will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œI must first point out that the Carabins have remarkable installations and a close medical monitoring of players,” commented Rochette of his commitment.Β  Β Β β€œThis has us hooked.”

β€œMany friends attended this institution and comments are always positive. Β In addition, the school I’ll probably go to is the HEC, a leading expert in the administration training.”

Rochette will be making a positional move from defensive end to linebacker once he joins the Carabins.Β  The defensive standout comes to the Vanier Cup champions after playing for CEGEP Division 3 team, Trois-Rivieres Diablos. This past season, Rochette played a prominent role on special teams as he registered over 20 tackles.
