CFC INSIDER

Each week, CanadaFootballChat.com will bring you some of the fascinating stories from Canadian amateur football

We introduce to you the next weekly installment of CFC’s “Did you know”:

1)      PANDA SIZED DONATION FOR CARLETON:

This past Saturday was a good one for the Carleton Ravens.  Not only did they land Ottawa receiver Phil Iloki and win the 2014 Panda Bowl Game on a last play Hail Mary, but the team also received a $500,000 donation from Taggart Parkes Foundation and Tamarak Homes.  The donation will go towards Taggart Family Football Awards which will be given to players that meet academic and athletic requirements as well as the Taggart Football Fund that will help to offset the team are operating costs.

However, that wasn’t the only money coming in for the Ravens.  NFL Canada gave the team $5000.00 through the NFL on Campus Fund.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
