Lorne Park Spartans 2014 ROPSSAA Champs

  • #CFC50 TEAM’S REMARKABLE TURNAROUND:

What a roller coaster this season for CFC#20 Lorne Park Spartans of the Region of Peel Secondary Schools Athletic Association (ROPSSAA).  The Spartans began their season by suffering two shutout losses in three games. After ending the regular season with a 4-3 record, the Spartans battled their way to earn their berth in the OFSAA Bowl Finals.  First, the Spartans got by St. Roch Ravens 22-14.  In the ROPSSAA Final, the team edged St. Marcellinus Spirit 12-11.

Last week, the Spartans won their second consecutive OFSAA Bowl with a 37-25 win over St. Ignatius Falcons.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
