Burlington defensive back becomes seventh #CFC100 to join OUA team.
It’s lucky number seven for the Western Mustangs.
The team has announced the addition of George Jeffrey to their football program.
Jeffrey, a 6’1, 185 pound defensive back from Burlington, Ontario will join the team for the 2015 OUA season.
“George is an excellent addition to our football program,” commented Mustangs Head Coach Greg Marshall. “We’ve really enjoyed getting to know George over the recruiting process; he is a great young man.”
“George is exactly what we are looking for in a Western Mustang athlete. He excels in both the classroom and on the football field. He is a welcome addition to the mustang family.”
Previously, the #CFC100 has suited up for both the T.A. Blakelock Tigers of the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association (HSSAA) and the Burlington Stampeders of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).
With Jeffrey’s commitment, he becomes the seventh #CFC100 to commit to the London, Ontario team. Defensive lineman Mitchell Stadnyk, running back Anthony Joyal, wide receiver Brett Ellerman, running back Cedric Joseph as well as offensive linemen Dylan Giffen and Nicholas Pinelli is among the other #CFC100 recruits to sign with the Mustangs.
Overall, the team is ecstatic to welcome Jeffrey into the fold.
