At the 2015 Ontario Prospect Challenge in Ottawa, running back Jacob Asselin scored once to guide Team East to victory over Team Central. He was selected as the Underclassmen Offensive Game MVP.
Up only by a touchdown, Jacob galloped towards the end zone, ending any halftime momentum that Team Central could’ve gained in the process. Asselin was also a reliable option carrying the ball well and picking up yardage quite often.
“It feels great,” said Asselin upon acceptance of the MVP honour. “There are a lot of great players out here and to be one of them is great.”
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
