Twenty-first Annual Simcoe County Football Clinic – Saturday, May 25

2013 – hosted by the St. Joan of Arc Knights Football

CLINIC HIGHLIGHTS:
This year’s Simcoe County camp will involve players from across the county including grade eight students from our feeder schools. The camp will be non-contact and will focus on advanced technique teaching.

The purpose of the clinic is three-fold:

  • Promote high school football and academics to the grade 8 students who are entering high school in September 2013.
  • Enhance the skill and enthusiasm of current (non-graduating) football players, both junior and senior in Simcoe County.
  • To have a good time Friday p.m., Saturday at the Simcoe County Camp and Saturday pm.


Rain or shine, here is the format for the day:

9:00-9:30 a.m. Guest coaches meet at St. Joan of Arc HS (460 Mapleton Ave.) (refreshments)

10:00 a.m. On the field introductions of the local coaches and guest coaches by position. Discuss and promote the positive aspects of highΒ Β Β  school/ high school football.

Six station positional circuit teaching basic fundamentals.Fun drills by position.
12:00 noon Lunch (pizza, pop or BBQ)

12:30–1:00 p.m. Guest speaker (T.B.A.) and raffles

1:00 p.m. Grade 8 ’s play touch football or participate in clinic

On field workout with current (non-graduating) high school players

Advanced skills by position

Drills, drills, drills (ie. cross over, pass skelly, one on ones….)
3:30 p.m. Discuss summer training (weights, running programs etc.)
Thank-you
Clean-up
Camp ends
