Ard’Eau Lymontard has been playing for seven years, bringing him to a total of five semi-finals during that time.

He spent two years with Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) playing junior varsity and played Quebec league for three years.

This year the Franco-CitΓ© Falcons won the league championships 55-28 this year over a Buckingham team who had been undefeated for the past six years.

Ard’Eau usually plays as a quarterback, but will be going through the Ontario Prospect Challenge’s (OPC) tryouts as a wide receiver.

The Falcon’s goals for the OPC are to β€œexcel and learn as much as I can.”

Ard’Eau is a 2017 graduate who is also aiming to see his name on the #CFC100 list.

During the offseason, he works out four times a week, but starting in January he will be joining a football program, which is five times a week.

On the field, the Falcon’s role model is Julian Edelman because he has always been told that he is too short, he has been overlooked as β€œnot a quarterback.”

Since then Edelman has made the switch to wide receiver, like Ard’Eau is doing now, and his regarded as one of the best at his position right now.

β€œI love football because it’s something that’s β€˜in the moment,’” said Ard’Eau. β€œI remember almost every highlight I’ve had in football and just the fact of feeling like a family no matter the short or long span with people.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
