Ardโ€™Eau Lymontard has been playing for seven years, bringing him to a total of five semi-finals during that time.

He spent two years with Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) playing junior varsity and played Quebec league for three years.

This year the Franco-Citรฉ Falcons won the league championships 55-28 this year over a Buckingham team who had been undefeated for the past six years.

Ardโ€™Eau usually plays as a quarterback, but will be going through the Ontario Prospect Challengeโ€™s (OPC) tryouts as a wide receiver.

The Falconโ€™s goals for the OPC are to โ€œexcel and learn as much as I can.โ€

Ardโ€™Eau is a 2017 graduate who is also aiming to see his name on the #CFC100 list.

During the offseason, he works out four times a week, but starting in January he will be joining a football program, which is five times a week.

On the field, the Falconโ€™s role model is Julian Edelman because he has always been told that he is too short, he has been overlooked as โ€œnot a quarterback.โ€

Since then Edelman has made the switch to wide receiver, like Ardโ€™Eau is doing now, and his regarded as one of the best at his position right now.

โ€œI love football because itโ€™s something thatโ€™s โ€˜in the moment,โ€™โ€ said Ardโ€™Eau. โ€œI remember almost every highlight Iโ€™ve had in football and just the fact of feeling like a family no matter the short or long span with people.โ€

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
