ASAA Provincial Championship (AB): CFC50 Harry Ainlay Titans vs. St. Francis Browns

Alberta Bowl Provincial Final

St. Francis Browns vs. Harry Ainlay Titans

Saturday Nov 25, @ 6:00pm., MEGlobal Athletic Park (Lacombe)

CFC50 Harry Ainlay Titans (11-0) have gone their entire season undefeated winning by large margins. This Saturday, they will have the opportunity to wrap up a victorious season with only one opponent left to face, two-time consecutive Provincial champions, the St. Francis Browns.

Coming out of a semi-final blowout win against CFC50 Bellerose Bulldogs (49-0), the Titans have made it known that they are here to win-it-all.

Head Coach Brock Ralph stated his players have been nothing but focused each week in every game and as a result have dominated the Metro Edmonton league after many attempts at the top.

The Carr Division has been lead by the Bev Facey Falcons with the Titans shortly behind. As the Titans go up against the Browns, they are playing with the hope of taking away a third consecutive Provincial Title.

Coach Ralph is confident his stand-out players will get the job done. With quarterback Eli Hetlinger at the helm and CFC100 Luwal Uguak on the field for his last time as a Titan, Coach is confident in their ability and drive to get the win.

Hetlinger has been a major source of points for the Titans all season long with his ambitious tosses to the endzone.

Almost breaking the Top 5 on CFC’s 3rd edition of the CFC100 top prospects list, Uguak has not committed to a post-secondary for he wants to outweigh his options. It is only a matter of time before this player will be picked up because of his impressive football IQ and aggression as a defensive end.

Jaxson Hume and CFC100 Jonathan Rosery are also key players to keep an eye out for on Saturday evening in Lacombe.

On the Browns side, CFC100 Jacob Biggs will try to end his high school career on a victorious note. A young man of many positions, he will be upfront in his performance. CFC100 Tyson Rowe will also be on the field trying to scoop up another championship for the St. Francis team.

The untouched Titans going against the reigning Provincial champions will definitely determine which team is the best of the best in Alberta.

“We expect a hard-fought game between the two best teams in the province,” Coach Ralph said.

This game will determine whether the South remains as Alberta’s finest or if the North will get the opportunity to bring home a championship title.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
