Midget: Meadow Ridge Knights vs White Rock Titans

Five undefeated teams remain at the Midget level after both Vancouver and North Surrey lost on the weekend.

One of those teams, Meadow Ridge, who shut out Vernon on the weekend and defeated the Longhorns in Week One, sit on top of the Midget division as one of those five undefeated teams.

Another one of those teams, the White Rock Titans, kept Chilliwack from scoring a major all day last Sunday and crushed the North Langley Bears the previous week.

This Saturday night, September 15, those two teams collide at Samuel Robertson Technical School in Maple Ridge to see who moves on to Week Three as a division leader. Game time is 7 pm.

Junior Bantam: Langley Outlaws vs Royal City Hyacks

Thirteen teams are vying for this division’s championship and after Week Two, six remain on a two-game winning streak.

In Week One, the Langley Outlaws easily defeated the North Surrey Falcons and then turned around last weekend and shut out the Burnaby Lions.

This weekend looks to be a real test for the Outlaws as they now face the 2-0 Royal City Hyacks, a team that went 9-0 last season and through to the championship game.

The Hyacks have had two very strong performances of their own so this Sunday, September 16 at Mercer Stadium in New Westminster, a real battle is going to take place and one team will carry on as undefeated. Game time is 11:15 am.
