Brantford Bisons release spring season home schedule

The Brant and District Football Club has released the Brantford Bisons spring season home schedule. A total of 16 games will be played in Brantford in three different Divisions; Peewee, Bantam, Junior Varsity and Varsity. This is the first year the Bisons will be participating in the Ontario Football Conference since 1982 when the Bisons were in the Canadian Junior Football League.

“There are some great teams in the OFC and we look forward to the challenge of matching the best football players in our community against the best the other centres have to offer. As well, a long time rivalry will be maintained since the Guelph Bears moved to the OFC with us. We always have great football games against that team” stated Brad Ward, president of the BDFC. “Football fans in Brantford will be the big winners since they get to watch some very entertaining football this spring with the advent of three down football at the Junior Varsity and Varsity level. There should be lots of passing and wide open offenses”. Ward added.
