CAMFA (Calgary Midget) Week 6: Mavericks & Wildcats head into playoffs undefeated

FALCONS 32-29 LIONS

Falcons: Alex Basilis had a solid game with 2 Passing TDs and 1 Rushing TD
Falcons: Riley Terriff had his best game of the season catching 2 Receiving TDs
Falcons: Kyle Bryne was a difference maker kicking 3 Field Goals and playing very well on defense
Falcons: Joe Mostowich had a strong game on D with several tackles and some pass breakups

Lions: Des Catellier had a terrific final game of the season throwing 3 TD passes and scoring 1 Receiving TD
Lions: Sidney Berglund made up the second half of the Lions dynamic due scoring 3 Receiving TDs and tossing 1 Passing TD
Lions: Mike Quillian was once again solid on D and recovered an onside kick
Lions: Jake McGorman was solid in coverage and had 1 INT

COLTS 34-18 BULLDOGS

Colts: Dallas Boath played determined scoring 1 Receiving TD
Colts: Mark Coles was excellent finding the end zone twice for 2 Receving TD
Colts: Ryan Karl had his most productive game of the season throwing for 3 Passing TDs

Bulldogs: Josh Quarles continued where he left off from last week returning a kickoff to the house for a TD
Bulldogs: Rob Stewart played well scoring 1 Rushing TD
Bulldogs: Braedon Merk got behind the defense when he scored a 90+ yard Receiving TD
Bulldogs: Truman Wilson tossed 1 Passing TD
Bulldogs: Steve Olson was a stud on D with 1 Forced Fumble and 1 Fumble Recovery

HILLTOPPERS 10-14 MAVERICKS

Hilltoppers: Bowan Lewis brought the crowd to it’s feet when he took a missed Mavs field goal 120 yards for the Special Teams TD
Hilltoppers: Wyatt Humber kicked 1 Field Goal
Hilltoppers: The Toppers D line played exceptionally well containing Hunchak for most of the evening

Mavericks: Jon Girma caught a beautiful 30 yard Receiving TD
Mavericks: Xavier Ramsey had a great 15 yard Rushing TD to put the Mavs up in the 3rd
Mavericks: Colton Hunchak threw 1 TD
Mavericks: Nathan Rowe filled in admirably for an injured Hugh Jones (hand) with 2 big chain moving receptions
Mavericks: Defense came up huge stopping the Toppers 3 times on the goaline late in the 4th quarter
Mavericks: Marco Scafidi, Nick & Aaron Statz all played very well in the secondary
Mavericks: The DL was potent keeping the Toppers O at bay all game long

COWBOYS 20-24 RAIDERS

Cowboys: Down to their 4th string QB the Boys struggled late in the game to generate any offensive push
Cowboys:

Raiders: Sam Haeni was a beast scoring 2 Receiving TDs
Raiders: Phil Hallet came up big with 1 Receiving TD
Raiders: Duncan Little was a difference maker down the stretch tossing 3 Passing TDs
Raiders: Tracker Robinson was in the backfield all game long and finished with 1 Sack
Raiders: Jared Johnson had a solid game with 1 INT

FIRE 25-3 BRONCOS

Fire: Ty Smith was sensational scoring 1 Rushing TD and 2 Receiving TDs including a long one caught up the seam
Fire: Brett Barrett had a nice game with 2 Passing TDs
Fire: The defense was excellent keeping the Broncos attack at bay
Fire: Owen Smith had 1 INT

Broncos: Julien Barnett had a strong outing making several receptions and playing effectively under center in the second half
Broncos: Antwan Smith was strong in the receiving game
Broncos: Wyatt Paton and Daniel Adesegun ran the ball well
Broncos: Braydon Bundy racked up 2 Sacks
Broncos: Reese Samson made tackles all over the field

Stamps: Isaiah McLellan had 1 Passing TD
Stamps: Tre Kellogg had a nice game scoring 1 Receiving TD
Stamps: Dalton Winkworth had 1 INT

Wildcats: Jags Bahia continued his hot streak scoring 2 Receiving TDs
Wildcats: Ben Kopczynski looked poised tossing 2 Passing TDs and scoring 1 Rushing TD
Wildcats: Jackson Bokenfohr broke loose scoring 1 Rushing TD
Wildcats: Jesse Williams ran powerfully and scored 1 Rushing TD
Wildcats: Ethan Tiemstra was excellent in coverage while kicking 1 Field Goal
Wildcats: Micah Teitz was the leader on defense making plays all over the field
