JAIME ELIZONDO
Offensive Coordinator
Jaime Elizondo enters his first year with the Ottawa REDBLACKS in 2016 as the clubās Offensive Coordinator.
Elizondo, who served as receivers coach with the Toronto Argonauts last season, brings an extensive football background to Ottawa where heāll work with a potent offence featuring 2015 Most Outstanding Player in quarterback Henry Burris and four players ā Chris Williams, Brad Sinopoli, Greg Ellingson and Ernest Jackson ā who caught for over 1,000 yards each last year.
A graduate of the University of Maryland with a law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University ā where he was also a Deanās Fellow ā Elizondo joined the Argos as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2010. That move followed time as receivers coach and assistant special teams coach with the Montreal Alouettes in 2008 and a year as receivers coach with the Syracuse Orangemen. Before re-joining the Argos last year, Elizondo spent three seasons as offensive coordinator and quaterbacks coach at Columbia University.
Elizondo officially joined the REDBLACKS on Dec. 24, 2015.
