CFC OVFL Game of the Week Preview: Rivalry continues

The junior Metro Toronto Wildcats lost a nail-biter this past weekend to the Pickering Dolphins 22-21.

Running back Mekhi Hyman leads the Wildcats with 2 touchdowns, while quarterback Gavin Fox has thrown for 209 yards, and interception and a touchdown over the past two games.

Defensively, Jesse Amaral leads the team with 12 solo tackles and 17 assisted.

The Wildcats will continue to persist offensively and rely on their playmakers to keep them fighting for a spot in the OVFL rankings. Head coach Trevor Thompson has drastically improved the internal issues of his team and now is able to focus on upcoming opponents.

Focus will be key this coming weekend as the Wildcats will take on their inter-city rival the Scarborough Thunder.

The Wildcats will try to achieve their first win of the season against their city rivals on Saturday at 12pm at Mary Ward Catholic School.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
