CFC OVFL (JV) Game of the Week Preview: Searching for a victory

The junior varsity Metro Toronto Wildcats remains winless after 3 weeks of play in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL), losing their previous game to their inter-city rivals the Scarborough Thunder, 42-27.

The Wildcats will have yet another challenge ahead of this as they take on the undefeated Ottawa Myers Riders (2-0).

Despite being unable able to win, Wildcats linebacker Jesse Amaral continues to lead the team in tackles with 16 solo and an interception.

Shomari Hutchinson follows close with 11 solo tackles and an interception.

Offensively, quarterback Gavin Fox has thrown for 244 yards and two touchdowns over the course of the season.

Mekhi Hyman continues to rack up the yards, totaling 230 yards and four touchdowns on 44 carries.

The Wildcats will look to gain their first win of the season in Week 4 against the undefeated Ottawa Myers Riders.

Metro Toronto Wildcats plays visitor to the Ottawa Myers Riders at 2:30pm on Saturday June 14th at Minto Field in the Nepean Sportsplex.
