CFC OVFL (JV) Game of the Week Preview: Thundering offense

The junior varsity Scarborough Thunder are off to a rolling start this season after achieving their third straight win this past weekend against the inter-city rival Metro Toronto Wildcats 42-27.

The Thunder are now undefeated on the season as they look to take on the (2-1) Pickering Dolphins at home this weekend.

Linebacker Jerry Marriott leads the Thunder defense with 10 solo tackles and two sacks.

Offensively, the Thunder are relying heavily on their passing game. Connor Smith has 35 completions for 715 yards, three interceptions and 10 touchdowns.

Leading the receiving game is Harris Raign who has hauled in 10 receptions for 200 yards and four touchdowns.

The Thunder will look to expand on their passing game against Ajax-Pickering Dolphins – a  team who has only one interception all season.

The Scarborough Thunder will attempt to go 4-0 this Saturday, June 14th at 2pm at Birchmount Stadium against the Ajax-Pickering Dolphins.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
