It was a milestone day for CFC Prospect Game CFC100 QB Callum Wither, who announced his commitment to Ohio University late last week.
A member of the Class of 2022, Wither grew up playing for the Waterloo Region Predators before moving onto Clarkson Football North to begin his high school career, and then made the move to New York last season where he played at St. Joseph’s Collegiate.
The 6’4″, 200lbs pivot would’ve been the only returning quarterback at the 2020 CFC Prospect Game on TSN chasing a 2-0 record on the big stage. He finished the 2019 CFC Prospect Game 7/13 for 124 yards and a touchdown, plus he added 15 more yards with his legs.

Wither was entertaining offers from Bowling Green, Kent State, Buffalo and Central Michigan, but will now be joining a quickly evolving legacy of Canadian quarterbacks at Ohio alongside CFC100 Kurtis and Nathan Rourke.
Wither also joins the growing list of CFC Prospect Game alumni heading to the NCAA including CFC100s Nolan Ulm, Albert Reese IV, Leif Magnuson, Malcolm Bell, Zachary Lytle, Nathan Carabatsakis, Nickolas Tshivuadi and Brad Kemayou.
