    • Greenall came. Greenall saw. Greenall conquered. After years of knocking on the door only to fall short to the South Rural League champions in the provincial playoffs, the Griffins finally got over the hill with a 13-0 victory against Weyburn. This creates an interesting narrative with the defending champs now in the chase position as Greenall and Central duke it out to see who will remain undefeated atop the division on Saturday. On the other side of the province, Bishop J. Mahoney has emerged as the top contender in Saskatoon after dismantling Aden Bowman 34-0.

    • We also had a paradigm shift in Quebec as Deux-Montagnes breezed past Saint-Joseph to take over top spot in DII. This result has shifted the Quebec programs on the rankings as we readjust for the Centurions now looking like the favourites as we reach the midway point in the season.
    • Holy Trinity Academy have taken over the number one ranking with another 60-7 blowout victory against Foothills. They’ve cruised through the early stages of their campaign, but will face some stiff tests in October against CFC50 top 25 programs Raymond and St. Francis that will reveal just how good they truly are.
    • Except for Robert Bateman and Windsor, the regular season has officially kicked off for the rest of the AA Varsity division in British Columbia. Vernon still look like the clear favourites to repeat, but you might as well throw the rest of the programs in a hat and pick out your favourites at the moment. Thankfully it won’t take long to separate the good from the elite.

    • Portage Collegiate were off to a flying start to the season until they ran into John Taylor, who handed them a 20-2 defeat. This leaves Fort Frances and Tec Voc as they only remaining undefeated teams in the WHSFL AAA Division, but only one will remain after they go toe-to-toe in a week four showdown.
    • Waterford join the list from the Brant County region in Ontario after defeating the defending champs Holy Trinity in their season opener. The division looks like it’s still wide open for now with Delhi also getting off to a strong start in their victory over Pauline Johnson.
