TOP 10:

#1 Notre Dame Pride (CALGARY)  1-0 ex.  – Played #CFC50 Raymond Comets and crushed them to a tune of 64-7.  The Pride are always tough.  Next up for CFC#1 is Henry Wise Wood in first game of Calgary Division 1 schedule.

#2 South Delta Sun Devils (South Delta, BC) 1-0 NC  – Defeated Hugh Boyd 46-13.  QB Kyle Chace went 8 for 17 for 175 yards and two touchdowns, one to receiver Michael Mann, who also returned a kick-off 80 yards for a score.

#3 St. Francis Browns (CALGARY) 0-0 – Shutout Ernest Manning 44-0.  Play California team Escondido Charter this week.

#4  Curé-Antoine-Labelle Wolves (LAVAL, QC) 3-0 – Defeated #CFC22 Saint Jean Eudes 26-19.  Huge game this week as the Wolves visit CFC#7 Cactus.  Game is Friday in downtown Montreal 7:30 at Collège Notre-Dame.

#5 St. Paul Crusaders (WINNIPEG, MB) 1-0 – Held off #CFC20 Vincent Massey by a 13-7 score.  Remis Tshiovo led the way on the ground with 134 yards on 17 carries.  QB Tommy Semchyshyn will have to clean up the interceptions for this team to win in November.

#6 W.F. Herman Green Griffins (WINDSOR, ON) 0-0 – Coach Harry Lumley is a legend of Ontario high school football and deserves lots of credit for producing a top program year in and year out.  Will this be the year the Green Griffins finish on top?  #CFC100 Jalen Jackson and teammates are ready for the challenge.

#7  Collège Notre-Dame Cactus (Montreal) 2-0 – Defeated Roger Comtois 52-0.  Huge game this week as the Cactus host CFC#4 Wolves.  Game is Friday in downtown Montreal 7:30 at Collège Notre-Dame.

#8  A.B. Lucas Vikings (London, ON) 0-0 – Surprise in London as fiery coach Michael Hayes citing the need for family time, stepped away from the role for a year.  They still have a core of great talent, but the sidelines were a bit barren.

#9 Leboldus Golden Suns (Regina) FINAL 1-0 – Beat Riffel 49-6.

#10  Terry Fox Ravens (Port Coquitlam, BC) 1-0 NC – Jeremie Kankolongo had an outstanding first game scoring on a ‘pick 6’ 65-yard return and then soon after on a two-yard run as the Ravens held off the CFC#21 Vancouver College Fighting Irish 15-7.  The defense played well totaling three interceptions on the day.

How is the #CFC50 evaluated?

The #CFC50 is a relative ranking that considers top tier leagues (listed below) from all eight high school playing provinces (minimum one team represented from each province).  The CFC Scouting Bureau consists of twenty-four CFC Reporters, CFC Scouts, and also selected local reporters and scouts who submit local ranking results on a weekly basis.  This is the sixth year that Canadafootballchat.com has ranked the top high school teams in Canada.

Leagues included in rankings: British Columbia AAA Varsity, Alberta Tier One, Saskatchewan 12-man 4A, Manitoba AAA Varsity, Ontario OFSAA Bowl AAA qualified teams, Quebec Juvenile Division 1, New Brunswick 12-man, Nova Scotia Tier 1

Non-Public schools will be considered in their own rankings (new 2015).
