Big top 10 battle this week in Montreal as the CFC#6 Collège Notre-Dame Cactus host CFC#4 Curé-Antoine-Labelle Wolves in Quebec Juvenile Division 1 action.  Game time is 7:30 at Collège Notre-Dame.
Some top teams in Ontario this week play off in non-conference games as St. Andrew’s College Saints (#CFC10 Non-Public) host CFC#26 Huron Heights Warriors. Β The Saints are coming off controlledΒ scrimmage versusΒ St. Joan of Arc.

#5 St. Paul Crusaders (WINNIPEG, MB) 1-0 –Β Held off #CFC20 Vincent Massey by a 13-7 score. Β Remis Tshiovo led the way on the ground with 134 yards on 17 carries. Β QBΒ Tommy Semchyshyn will have to clean up the interceptions for this team to win in November.
#6 W.F. Herman Green Griffins (WINDSOR, ON) 0-0 – Coach Harry Lumley is a legend of Ontario high school football and deserves lots of credit for producing a top program year in and year out. Β Will this be the year the Green Griffins finish on top? Β #CFC100Β Jalen Jackson and teammates are ready for the challenge.

#8 Β A.B. Lucas Vikings (London, ON) 0-0 –Β Surprise in London as fiery coach Michael HayesΒ citing the need for family time, stepped away from the role for a year. Β They still have a core of great talent, but the sidelines were a bit barren.
#9 Leboldus Golden Suns (Regina)Β FINALΒ 1-0 – Beat Riffel 49-6.
#10 Β Terry Fox Ravens (Port Coquitlam, BC) 1-0 NC – Jeremie Kankolongo had an outstanding first game scoring on a ‘pick 6’ 65-yard return and then soon after on a two-yard run as the Ravens held off the CFC#21 Vancouver College Fighting Irish 15-7. Β The defense played well totaling three interceptions on the day.

How is the #CFC50 evaluated?
The #CFC50 is a relative ranking that considers top tier leagues (listed below) from all eight high school playing provinces (minimum one team represented from each province).Β The CFC Scouting Bureau consists of twenty-four CFC Reporters, CFC Scouts, and also selected local reporters and scouts who submit local ranking results on a weekly basis.Β This is the sixth year that Canadafootballchat.com has ranked the top high school teams in Canada.
Leagues included in rankings: British Columbia AAA Varsity, Alberta Tier One, Saskatchewan 12-man 4A, Manitoba AAA Varsity, Ontario OFSAA Bowl AAA qualified teams, Quebec Juvenile Division 1, New Brunswick 12-man, Nova Scotia Tier 1
Non-PublicΒ schools will be considered in their own rankings (new 2015).
