CJFL Offensive POW

OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:

PFC WEEK 2:

Receiver – #18 Kyle Brick – Calgary Colts

The Colts exploded for 59 road points in Week 2 and the Offensive Player of the Week was in the thick of it.Β  Receiver Kyle Brick scored four touchdowns on his five receptions and collected 76 yards in the Colts first win of the season.

BCFC WEEK 5:

Running Back – #34 Jacob Palmarin – Kamloops Broncos

For the second time this season Jacob Palmarin of the Kamloops Broncos had a game in which he could not be stopped.Β  The BC Lions Offensive Player of the Week rushed a team record 260 yards on 20 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns including an 83 yards run.Β  He racked up these numbers against a very good VI Raiders defence. This is the second time in his career that he has rushed for over 200 yards.

DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:

PFC WEEK 2:

Defensive back –#6 Dylan Niedermaier – Calgary Colts

In Week 2 the Colts offence was impressive scoring 59 points, however their defence was as dominant, holding the Edmonton Huskies to just 10 points.Β  The D was led by the Defensive Player of the Week, Dylan Niedermaier who collected five tackles and two interceptions.

BCFC WEEK 5:

Defensive lineman – #65 Alex Agnoletto – Langley Rams

Alex Agnoletto is the anchor of the Langley Rams defence and he did a little bit of everything in Week 5.Β  The BC Lions Defensive Player of the Game recorded three tackles, one assisted stop, his second sack of the season and intercepted a pass.Β  This is the second Player of the Week award this season for Agnoletto.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:

PFC WEEK 2:

Returner – #26 Liam Murphy – Saskatoon Hilltops
The Saskatoon Hilltops seemingly scored from every angle in Week 2, but none were more impressive than the Special Teams Player of the Week, Liam Murphy and his 128 yard return for a touchdown after a missed field goal.Β  His return is the second longest in CJFL history.Β  Murphy also returned a punt 16 yards.

BCFC WEEK 5:

Returner – #19 Tristan Muir – VI Raiders
Easily his best game in a Raiders uniform as Tristan Muir put on a great display of returning kick-offs in Week 5.Β  Muir returned five kick-offs for 126 yards including an impressive 95 yard touchdown return.Β  He is the BC Lions Special Teams Player of the Week.
