Class 2017 prospect grabs two additional NCAA offers (VIDEO)

It’s been a brisk couple of days for Class Luiji VIlain.

This past Thursday, the 6’4, 235 pound defensive end from Ottawa, Ontario received two additional NCAA Division 1 offers. Big 10 Conference team, Wisconsin Badgers offered earlier in the afternoon as Vilain announced on twitter:

A few hours later, the defensive standout shared the news he has been offered by Atlantic Coast Conference squad, Virginia Cavaliers:

With the two additional offers, Vilain has seven offers to consider.  The other ones are from Penn State, Syracuse, Minnesota, South Florida and Rutgers – the future home for #CFC100 CLASS 2016 top ranked prospect Patrice Rene.

While he is ecstatic of the turn of events the past few days, the defensive end will be taking some time to decide the offers while training with Victor Tedondo at Gridiron Academy in Ottawa.

However, Vilain offers insight as to when and how the announcement surrounding his decision will unfold.

“It feels great to be given these offers by two great schools like Virginia and Wisconsin,” commented Villain.  “I plan on committing next year, the same day as Jonathan Sutherland (fellow Gridiron Academy attendee and Class 2017 recruit).”

This summer, Villain has attended several events including Michigan’s Sound Mind Sound Body Camp and Ohio State’s Friday Night Lights Camp.

Currently, the defensive end plays alongside Rene at Alexandria’s Episcopal Maroon.

Other teams Vilain has suited up for north of the border include Cumberland Panthers of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and South Gloucester Giants of the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA).
