In the day’s second semi-final, two-time defending champion Team Quebec make their tournament debut playing 1-0 Team Saskatchewan. Ever since that November day in 1999 when Laval upset Saskatchewan to advance to (and eventually win) their first Vanier Cup, the province of Quebec has served notice as a football power in Canada and this edition of the Sask./QC. rivalry should be good.
