Ben Gray has been playing football for three years and has really enjoyed it because he has made lots of friends.
He has played with the Nantes Dockers, the Christ the King Jaguars in the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association (HSSAA) and is currently with the Ontario Football Conferenceβs (OFC) North Halton Crimson Tide.
For this year’s Fox 40 Prospect Challenge, Gray says,Β βI want to get recognized with the help of CFC, but right now I want to make it to Ottawa and kick some BC butt.β
The 2018 graduate is also hoping to find his name on the CFC100 list because he wants to play NCAA in the future.
During the offseason, he does strength training at the gym, as well as speed and agility drills. The Crimson Tide also participates in football schools and camps. βI play other sports such as hockey to improve my agility and conditioning,β added Ben.
On the gridiron, his idol is James Harrison because he is a great player both on and off the field. βHe is a 38-year-old linebacker that can still compete with younger players and he works to be the best he can be,β explained Ben.
βHe is always grinding in the gym trying to improve himself and his abilities,β added the defensive end. βBefore making decisions he consults with this wife and kids, which I respect because family should be important to everyone.
The Crimson Tide loves football because it is a great way to get exercise and hang out with his friends, as well as compete against and with them.
