Joshua McIntyre has been playing football for three years now.
“I was a little late getting to the game, but I love it,” said Joshua. “I’ve met a lot of great people and fantastic coaches.”
During his career, he was played in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) for the Cornwall Wildcats, with the NCAFA All Stars and with his school team, the Tagwi Warriors in the Eastern Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association (EOSSAA).
The left offensive tackle is also a prospect for the Ontario Varsity Football League’s (OVFL) Cornwall Wildcats.
“[I] can’t wait to see where this journey takes me,” added Joshua.
Moreover, the offensive tackle is also participating in the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge this year.
“It’s great to meet so many dedicated people all with the same goals, to play the best you can, at the highest level you can,” commented Joshua.
During the offseason, the Warrior plays basketball and soccer, as well as plays and officiates hockey.
On the field, his role model is former Cornwall Wildcat and current Ottawa Redblack, Jason Lauzon-Seguin.
Joshua loves football because it is a combination of strategy, strength and pure teamwork, from the coaches on down.
