Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): REC Huschi won’t stop until he’s the best

To say that this young receiver has seen a lot already in the five years he’s been playing is an understatement.

He has won the Coop League Island Trophy in 2014 with South Side Fairview Cowboys and in 2016 his team won the AA high school Provincial Championship with the NDSS Islanders JV Team. Also in January 2016, he played on the Team BC at the High Roller U14 Grade 8 Team in Las Vegas, as well as attended UBC and SFU summer football camps.

In the off-season, Huschi attends skill camps and tryouts, as well as trains in the gym and on the field. He wants to continue to work on his football skills to become and overall better player and teammate for the CFCFPC and says, “I love to play football because it’s my passion. I work everyday to get better and won’t stop till I’m the best I can be.”

And to be the best, you have to have good examples of what that looks like and how to get there. Huschi says that he looks up to BC Lion, Adam Bighill, because “he trains harder than anyone I know and he is always striving to get better.”
