Senior team looks to secure playoff spot with a win on Canada Day

Kingston, ON – The Ontario Provincial Football League (OPFL) announced yesterday the Grenadiers will host the premier league’s championship finals on Sunday, August 6 at Richardson Stadium.

β€œThe Grenadiers know how to put on a football game,” says OPFL president Bill Martindale. β€œRichardson Stadium is an amazing facility for teams to play in. It has first-rate amenities and the game-day atmosphere is top-notch.”

Martindale also commended the Kingston community for its tremendous support of local football.

β€œWe are very excited to host the league finals in the OPFL’s inaugural season,” says GMen executive director Alexandra Reyes-Walsh. β€œHosting such a high-caliber event in Kingston simply wouldn’t have been a possibility without our strong partnerships with Queen’s University and local businesses.”
