At North Park Field inΒ BrantfordΒ on SaturdayΒ afternoon the Varsity Hurricanes continued to roll with a 62-0 win over the strugglingΒ BrantfordΒ Bisons.
The offense started second pivot Liam Putt who successfully controlled the offence scoring a touchdown on the ground andΒ setting up touchdowns scores from Jason Ledonne (2 majors), Dan Petermann (2 majors)
The defenseΒ laidΒ its third straight shutoutΒ in as many weeks. Key interceptions were recorded by Daniel McNicoll, Christian Grou,Β Abele, and Robert White. The Special Teams came up big with 3 touchdowns by Kyle Vanwynsberghe, Williams, andΒ Chiaverella.Β Linebacker Raider Boyd was on a mission and delivered some devastating blocks which helped to spring returners.
βI am extremely happy with the result and the teams constant drive to get better each week,” commented Hurricanes head coach Rob Underhill. Β “For us it is all about development and the back half of the schedule should be an indicator have how we are doing.”
