Hurricanes subdue Bisons

At North Park Field in Brantford on Saturday afternoon the Varsity Hurricanes continued to roll with a 62-0 win over the struggling Brantford Bisons.

The offense started second pivot Liam Putt who successfully controlled the offence scoring a touchdown on the ground and setting up touchdowns scores from Jason Ledonne (2 majors), Dan Petermann (2 majors)

The defense laid its third straight shutout in as many weeks. Key interceptions were recorded by Daniel McNicoll, Christian Grou, Abele, and Robert White. The Special Teams came up big with 3 touchdowns by Kyle Vanwynsberghe, Williams, and Chiaverella. Linebacker Raider Boyd was on a mission and delivered some devastating blocks which helped to spring returners.

”I am extremely happy with the result and the teams constant drive to get better each week,” commented Hurricanes head coach Rob Underhill.  “For us it is all about development and the back half of the schedule should be an indicator have how we are doing.”

The Hurricanes are in London this Saturday to take on Forest City.
