The new era of Hamilton Wentworth Minor Football began this weekend. The HWMFA fall teams have always been known as the Panthers. Earlier this year the HWMFA formed an alliance with the Canadian Football League Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the HWMFA teams are now called the Tiger-Cats. The past weekend was the 1st weekend of the Fall season in Central Ontario Minor Football League (COMFL). With the exception of one of the Tyke games, all games were against Twin Cities (Kitchener-Waterloo) Warhawks.
