JV Ravens make statement

The game between the Toronto Thunder and the Essex Ravens was suppose be a close hard hitting highly contested game, instead it was the opposite as the Essex Ravens throttled the Toronto Thunder 44-21.

Offensively the Ravens were able to move the ball at will. The Ravens rushed for 329 yards, which included 19 carries for 155 yards and 1 touchdown for Matthieu Pickens , 11 carries for 125 yards and 1 touchdown for Chris Tannous and 6 carries for 41 yards and 2 touchdowns for Brody Quinn. Β Quarterback Jake Faubert completed 5 of 7 passes for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Defensively the Ravens did an exceptional job of containing the Thunder.Β  The Ravens limited the Thunder to 110 rushing yards and 132 passing yards while also compiling 7 sacks.

Next up for the Ravens is a date with the Mississauga Warriors on Saturday June 15, kickoff is at 8 pm in Mississauga.
