Lloydminster Red Dogs have great expectations this season In Edmonton Midget (SUMMARY)

The Lloydminster Red Dogs haven’t officially geared up for their first game yet, but head coach Rod Kirby thinks it will be a promising and rewarding season. The Dogs participated in the preseaon jamboree last weekend coming out with 2 wins and 1 tie. The Lloydminster team has been extremley successful in the midget league. Starting running back Donavan Grannum stands out on offense with his speed, and ability to make split second decisions to avoid the tackle. Defensivley, the Red Dogs will be looking to middle line backer Jordan McCormick to make some big plays. Coach Kirby has big expectations for this young team, they will be gearing up for their first game at Foot Field on Sunday, April 7 against the Edmonton Seahawks.
