Manitoba Girls Football Association All Star Game

For those unaware, the Manitoba Girls Football Association held The Inaugural MGFA All Star Game at Transcona Nationals Field just a few weeks ago. The organizers of the Transcona Nationals event felt the day went well with great football and hot, hot weather! Thank you to the many volunteers that made the day possible.

This Inaugural (FIRST EVER) game is an example of the determination and commitment shown by the MGFA executive and administrators to not only provide an opportunity for women to play football within their own league, but lead the sport and athletes to new heights.

Football Canada has seen the benefits of women’s football and has mandated developing women’s leagues across the country. Where our ladies pioneered this endeavor, they continue to push new boundaries!

With all the support of Manitoba, we wish the MGFA continued success in pioneering women’s football!

Notables from the MGFA All Star Game include the Heavy Metal Design’s Offensive and Defensive Player of the Games Awards for Team Gold and Team Black.

#1 – Juleah Radomsky – Heavy Metal Design’s Defensive Player of the Game – Team Black – Mustangs
#3 – Skylar Carswell – Heavy Metals Design’s Defensive Player of the Game – Team Gold – Rods
#16 – Sherissa Gretsinger – Heavy Metal Design’s Offensive Player of the Game – Team Black – Nomads
