The 6’4″, 200lbs prospect originally hails from Kelowna, B.C., where he began his high school career at local Kelowna Secondary. Eventually he made his way across the country where he attended Clarkson Football North, and then finished off his studies at Clearwater Academy in Florida.

Schlachter received interest from a couple U Sports programs with offers from Alberta and Regina, but it’s hard to say no to the opportunity to join his teammate CFC100 DB Tremel States-Jones at South Alabama. The last Canadian we have knowledge of attending South Alabama is QB Myles Gibbon, who finished his university career in Canada at York University.
