NCAFA (Ottawa): Week 4 recap – Jared Valentino leads Knights with 11 tackles

TYKE

Knights Kyle Crabtree, Trey Smith, Adain Demoreaux and Thom Dulmage led the Warriors over Kanata.Β  Knights QB Peter Johnson connected with Devaugh Blackwood for a combined 36 yards and 2 first downs.Β  Jared Valentino had 11 tackles.

Anas Faid had an interception.Β  QB Madison McLean threw 2 TD’s in Myers win over West Carleton.

Bel Air’s Djosy Mumembi, Leo Bak and Gaby Castillo blocked for William Lemus-Coto, and Bryce Russell had a 2 point conversion.Β  Gabriel Garvey and Cameron Daros led the defense.

Ilyas Abdi had 2 TD’s, Thomas Graham had an extra point in the Generals’ win.

Dylan Crooks (6 carries, 70 yards, 1 TD) QB Aaron McArdle (3/6, 4 carries, 40 yards), Hugh Russell (8 tackles) stood out in West Carleton’s win.

MOSQUITO

Scott Robinson and Jarod Wakemen combined for 11 tackles in Kanata’s loss.Β  Kane Obas (4 tackles, fumble recovery) and Liam Quinton (65 yard run leading to a TD from Nevan Carter).

Giffen Brown had his first ever NCAFA TD.Β  QB Matthieu Franche (12/17 and 180 yards) as the Panthers moved to 4-0.

Jesse Luketa and Kenin Nsabua (2 TD’s each) in the Mustang’s win.

Wolverines QB Patrick Duffy threw for 135 yards.Β  Owen Clement had 1 TD, 12 carries, 140 yards and 5 receptions.

PEE WEE

Cumberland QB’s Javontae Nelson and Zachary Boudreau combined for 21 points.Β  Kurleigh Gittens had 2 TD’s.Β  On defense, Patrick Madore dominated, teaming up with Sebastien Kroon to prevent a late Giants rally.

Bell improved to 3-0.Β  Knights veteran Ashton Vanasse stood out on offence while Nathan Carter and Michael Kraeker were defensive stars.

Joseph Donnelly and Brian Franklin had several big plays for Myers vs. The Wolverines. Noah Goulet and Jeremy Tembo had key interceptions.

Simon St. Laurent started his first game at QB.Β  8 different players scored for the Mustangs including Connor Sears with his first for the team.

Tackles from James Atwell (10) and John Russell (8) plus Liam Bennett’s 3 TD’s and 110 yards helped West Carleton Win.Β  Vince Lanone scored twice.

BANTAM

Jackson Bennett had 12 tackles, an interception and a TD in Cumberland’s win over Gloucester.Β  Zac Charron recovered a fumble.

Warriors Drew McNaughton was solid holding Kanata to only 14 points.

Myers QB Costa Jones rushed for 2 TDs and threw for 2 more. Brothers Enzo and Marco Trunzo and Andy Guest each had TD’s.

Hadi Besmar led the Raiders with 3 TD’s and 4 converts vs. Cornwall. Tunde Adeleke, Dimitri Vaillancourt and Skyler Alexander also scored.

Generals’ Kevins Charles rushed for two TD’s.Β  Stanley Lodge threw 2 more and added 2, 2 point converts.

Jason Tuepah, Brad Landers and QB Jaeget Prot were in on the scoring for West Carleton.Β  Brad Herbst forced 2 fumbles, Taylor Matthews and Dylan Lecuyer had interceptions.

MIDGET

Jonathan Cimankinda scored the only TD for Bel-Air.Β  Anthony Mousigniac had 2 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery.
