Nebraska becomes latest to offer Class 2017 prospect Palmer (VIDEO)

Joshua Palmer continues to get NCAA Division 1 offers.

Yesterday, the the 6’3, 185 pound wide receiver from Brampton, Ontario announced on Twitter that he was offered by Football Bowl Subdivision team, Nebraska Cornhuskers:

Palmer has received other offers from Fresno State Bulldogs, Bowling Green Falcons, Purdue Boilermakers, Maryland Terrapins, Syracuse Orange, University of Illinois Fighting Illini, University of Michigan Wolverines, University of Temple Owls, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Northern Illinois Huskies and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

In 2014, Palmer participated in the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC), guiding the Team Halton-Peel to a 15-14 victory over Team West in the Varsity Game.

Currently, the Ontario receiver is playing south of the border in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders. Last month at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Palmer helped the Raiders win the Class 7A Florida state title as the Raiders crushed opponents Melbourne Viera 45-10.

Previous to the Raiders, Palmer has suited up for both the St. Roch Ravens of the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) and Burlington Stampeders of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).
