OBIT: B.C football community mourns loss of CFC100 RB Samwel Uko

Standing at 5’9, 170lbs, Samwel Uko spent four years with the Abbotsford Panthers (BCSSFA) and has played peewee, junior and junior bantam with the Abbotsford Falcons in his hometown of Abbotsford, B.C. He was a provincial AA champion in grade 8. In grade 10, he was a provincial AA finalist and was the ‘best back’ award recipient. He received the same award the following year and was a conference MVP. In his senior year, he was an AA provincial finalist, conference MVP, the offensive MVP for the province and the ‘best back.’

He committed to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in 2018 and played one year. He then returned to B.C to play with the Langley Rams where he was entering his second season.

Uko was a CFC100 for the Class of 2018 and also participated in the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge in B.C.
