As reported by the Winnipeg Sun. Robert Donaldson fell victim to a random act of violence on Friday, June 7th.
Donaldson coached with the Valour Patriots who made this statement on their facebook page:
“It is with great sadness that we share with our Valour Patriots Football family the passing of Coach Rob over the weekend.
Coach Rob, his son Christian and their family joined our community 2 years ago with a strong love for football and a stronger support for the club and our players. Coach Rob always came from a place of passion and caring.
Coach Rob was a father, a son, a brother, and a mentor for our players. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, his son Christian and to the players who Coach Rob has impacted during his time with Valour.”
