OFC announces Round 1 playoff schedules (SCHEDULE)

Undefeated regular seasons for both the Hamilton Hurricanes and Huronia Stallions have netted both teams the number one seeding in the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) varsity playoffs.

The league announced the playoff schedule for both the varsity and junior varsity leagues earlier today.

The varsity playoffs kickoff on Friday July 26th when the Hurricanes (8-0), who are seeded number one in the Doug Dittmer Conference will host the fourth ranked Guelph Bears (4-4) at St. Thomas More.Ā  Kickoff is 7:00pm. The second seeded Twin Cities Predators (7-1) will battle the third seeded Burlington Stampeders (6-2) on Saturday July 27th at 7:00pm at Wilfrid Laurier University.

In the Mike Ramsay Conference, top ranked Huronia Stallions (7-0) will tackle the fourth seeded Oakville Titans (4-4) on Saturday July 27th at Barrie Sports Complex.Ā  Game start is 7:00pm. Meanwhile, the second seeded Toronto Jr. Argos (7-1) will host the third ranked Peterborough Wolverines (5-3) on Sunday July 28th at St.Mikes.Ā  Kickoff is 4:00pm.

As for the junior varsity division, the top ranked team in the Doug Dittmer Conference, the Burlington Stampeders (7-0) will host the fourth seeded Chatham-Kent Cougars (4-2) on Sunday July 28th at Nelson Stadium.Ā  Game start is 3:30pm. The second seeded Hamilton Hurricanes (6-1) will battle the third ranked Brantford Bisons (4-3) on Saturday July 27th at St. Thomas More.Ā  Kickoff is 11:00am.

The Peterborough Wolverines (8-0) are the top ranked team in the Mike Ramsay Conference and will host the fourth seeded Toronto Jr. Argos (4-4) on Saturday July 27th at Kenner Collegiate High School.Ā  Game time is 4:00pm.Ā  In the other matchup, the second seeded North Halton Crimson Tide (7-1) will play the third ranked Huronia Stallions (5-3) on Sunday July 28th at Georgetown District High School.Ā  Kickoff is 4:00pm.
