OFC: Jr. Argos subdue Crimson Tide

The Toronto Jr. Argos had another big win this last Sunday in North Halton, 24-3. With the win the Jr. Argos move up into second place, and are in contention for a coveted home playoff game.

On the defense, tackle no. 89 Kwadwo β€œJunior” Dwobeng led the way with a solid effort. Meanwhile on the offense, the offensive line were able to defend their quarterback and allow the offense to make big plays all game.

Next week the Jr. Argos will take on the Clarington Knights who are in last place with 0 wins.

β€œWe have always taken a week by week approach to our season and regardless of opponent, we game plan for each of them statistically,” says head coach Carlo Onorati.

There are only a couple of games left in the 2013 regular season, and this game will be the Jr. Argos chance to secure a home playoff game. Coach Onorati points out, β€œYou are only as good as your last game,” An old adage that the Jr. Argos refuse to forget.

The game will take place at 1:00PM in Clarington.
