βWe did a few things rightβ says head coach Carlo Onorati, βbut the boys got off to a very, very slow start and were almost asleep through the game.β To make matters worse, many players with injuries were rested for the game, as the Jr. Argos were guaranteed a playoff spot. Overall the game was βhard to watch for the coaching staffβ.
Still, there were some standouts for the Toronto side. Defensive tackle Josh Brown had another great game as he has emerged as a leader on the defensive side. Running back Mark Del Fatti played excellent as not only a RB, but as a free safety and linebacker as well.

Burlington should be given a lot of credit for their win. Their defense played strong the entire game, and no. 2 Nicolas Langley, a running back, ran a quick game leaving many in his dust. The rest of the team followed suit, allowing them to take the win with an element of ease.
Regardless of the loss, the Jr. Argos have a spot in the playoffs. βNow we have the regular season behind us, which is very exciting for both players and coachesβ, says Onorati.
The quarterfinal match will be against the Peterborough Wolverines in Peterborough this Sunday.It should be another close game as it will be a rematch from week six, when the Jr. Argos came out on top in a close 20-18 victory.
