The defence set the tone early for this match putting enormous pressure on the Jr. Argos gaining a safety in the first quarter. The Jr. Argos quarterback had little time to set plays with defenders surrounding their backfield quickly throughout the game.

Titans quarterback Nick Mardner continues to build his confidence running with the ball and striking for two passing touchdowns. The first on the money to Ian Blacker for 19 yards in the second quarter and a 9-yard toss to James Bateman in the third quarter. Chris Elliot ran a 52-yard touchdown slashing through the Jr. Argos defence before the end of the second quarter.

Bantam

The Bantams played another close game up to halftime trailing the Twin Cities Predators 14-13 in Waterloo.

A couple quick touchdowns by the Predators in the second half locked up a 41-21 victory over the Bantam Titans.

The Titan offence played right to the end of the game by scoring a touchdown with a two-point convert. Touchdowns were scored by Timothy Baljet, Aiden Challis and Alex Filippini. Filippini scored the two-point conversion.

Junior Varsity

Titans dangerous running back duo of Thomas Knapp and Dante Chiovitti each ran for touchdowns to lead the JV Titans to their third consecutive victory downing the Clarington Knights 18-0.

The Knights yielded a safety in the second quarter, while Knapp kicked a convert and a 23-yard field goal to round out the scoring.

The defence continues to shine allowing only eight yards in total offence against with no points.
Liam Noakes brought his season’s best performance leading in tackles with four, a fumble recovery leading to Chiovitti’s touchdown and a sack. Ball hawk Brett Colangelo had his third interception in as many games.
