OMFL: Storm fall to Halton in championship game

Teams/Score:    JV Storm 24 – Halton 41

Storm Highlights:    

There weren’t many highlights on our end but Mitchell Sheehan played hard thru tuff circumstances and broke two fantastic runs for TD’s in the second half to give us some life. Kurt Katool also played well in what turn out to be one of the hottest days all year going both ways and making two nice grabs for TD’s

Turning Point:

It seemed from the start that we came out flat! And in a span of 8 minutes in the second quarter they scored 4 Td’s. We out played them in the second half but it was too little to late for us to come all the way back.

Coaches Comments:

“Regardless of the out come of the game I am so proud of my players and what they accomplished this year. They all have worked really hard at becoming better players and hopefully better young people. I will miss those that have graduated to Sr Varsity and wish them well. My coaching staff and I enjoyed every minute of what turned out to be a very special year for everyone.”
