During his time in the LMFA he played four seasons with the Cobras and two with the Forest City Thunderbirds, where he won the 2014 Defensive MVP award.

More recently, Lucas has spent a season with his school team, the East Elgin Jr. Eagles and was awarded Lineman of the Year.

ā€œMy goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are to make the team, gain experience and advance my team skills,ā€ said Lucas. ā€œI hope to play defensive line and on special teams.ā€

During the offseason the Eagle goes to Maximum Potential Fitness three times a week and does a football workout they have set up for him.

He also plays basketball for the East Elgin Eagles.

Moreover, he does not have a specific role model in football, but he has had great coaches who influenced, encouraged and helped him grow as a player.

ā€œI love playing football because I like the adrenalin rush and I like to hit people,ā€ commented Lucas.

ā€œI love working together as a team to win a game,ā€ added the Eagle.
