Bennett Uliana has played four years worth of football.

Two of those years were spent with his high school team, the Elmira Lancers  of the Waterloo County Secondary School Athletic Association (WCSSAA).

In this year’s Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC), the quarterback/slotback has a goal of making the Top 100.

During the offseason, Bennett works out at lunch during school and visits a trainer for agility and strength training.

Moreover, his idol is Tom Brady because most people forget where he came from.

Brady was drafted late in the sixth round of the 2000 draft, and got his first start when Drew Bledsoe got injured. That same year, he won the Super Bowl.

“Tom has been to six Super Bowls and won four of them,” said Bennett. “He is the greatest quarterback of all time and I respect him greatly.”

The Lancer loves the sport because he has grown up around football and thinks playing it is amazing.

“It’s like no other sport,” added Bennett. “Winning with your teammates is such a great feeling.”
